At Camp Nejeda children and teens with type 1 diabetes are given the opportunity to live, if only for one or two weeks, in a world where having diabetes is the norm and where there is no need to explain blood sugar testing, finger pricks, insulin injections or 'carb' counting because everyone at camp already understands. At Camp Nejeda children with diabetes are free to just be children and to enjoy a fun and educational camping experience in a safe learning environment. (learn more about Camp Nejeda)
Camp Nejeda wishes our camper families, staff and supporters a joyous and happy holiday season. 2014 was a wonderful year of making a lifelong impact on hundreds of children with diabetes and their families. We couldn't have done it without the charitable giving of individuals and organizations. Please make your tax deductible end-of-year gift today to ensure that 2015 will be our best year ever!
